Imogen & Steven’s Wedding at the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney
Imogen and Steven held their wedding ceremony at the beautiful Palm House at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney. The Palm House is such a beautiful venue for a wedding ceremony, with beautiful soft light.
The couple held their wedding reception at the stunning Botanic House, an amazing setting.
We started the day by calling on Steven, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Circular Quay, where he and the boys were getting ready. The guys were ready well ahead of schedule so Steven asked if we could skip the ‘getting ready’ photos in the room and instead take shots of him and his groomsmen around the hotel.
Imogen had booked an Airbnb apartment where she and her bridesmaids and Mum and Dad got ready. Imogen wore a broach which belonged to her grandmother, which meant a lot to Imogen and her Mum.
Then it was time to head to the Botanic Gardens for the couple’s beautiful ceremony with family and friends.
After the ceremony I took the couple and their bridal party on a greatest hits tour of the gardens, following the gorgeous backlight from the setting sun. We had our portraits done in 45 minutes and then made our way to Botanic House for an amazing reception.
