Anna & Mitch’s STORY
A Wedding in Watersedge at Campbell's Stores The Rocks
Anna & Mitch’s Wedding Day
As a South Coast wedding photographer, I was delighted when Maeve and Eamonn decided on Interbane House in Stanwell Park as the venue their beautiful garden wedding and reception. With it’s beautiful architecture and terraced garden overlooking the beach, it’s a venue that ticks every box.
We started the day with the boys getting ready at Interbane. I then headed over to photograph the girls getting ready at their nearby Airbnb. I so love the photograph I captured of Maeve’s mum Sue as she places her bracelet on Maeve’s wrist. The love in Sue’s eyes is so deep and authentic. These are the shots that I hope couples will come to treasure over the years, utterly candid and capturing their truth.
Here I also got to meet the absolute star of the show, Maeve and Eamonn’s baby son Banjo, who has to be the best kid I’ve ever photographed, he was so at ease with the camera.
So back to Interbane, to get ready for an amazing and deeply heartfelt ceremony witnessed by family and friends.
A wedding for me is not just a celebration of the couple’s love for each other but also the love they share with their whole family. Maeve and Eamonn are both writers by trade and this showed in their vows. As their love story was told I was able to quietly move around and capture beautiful reaction shots of their nearest and dearest as the ceremony unfurled.
After a round of celebratory drinks I took the couple (and Banjo) and bridal party over to Bald Hill, with it’s stunning ocean views towards Stanwell Park Beach serving as our background for bridal portraits.
As evening approached and a cool sea breeze picked up, it was time for speeches.
“Brendan did an outstanding job at our wedding and have some amazing memories to cherish of our special day! He was nothing but professional and fun throughout the afternoon and we cannot thank him enough. Highly recommend his services for future events.”
